Little man (homuncular) Tai Chi and Qi Gong course

Little man brain map

This course, especially designed for advanced practitioners, has been my personal discovery twenty years prior during the course of my career as a devoted practitioner.

I have been practicing Tai Chi Chuan over sixty-five years and Qi Gong for over sixty years. Thirty years ago my quest began to further my practice beyond the traditional framework. Fortunately, I came across the work of W. Penfield on sensory-motor mapping in the brain as well as the work of C. Darwin on the expression of human emotions. Both theories became very helpful and inspirational for my work, even to this day.

During each routine the mind and body need to maintain a state of optimal balance in mind and body in order to cultivate a healthier Qi. Since both hands and face are much more sensitive and expressive than the rest of the body due to a much larger occupation of the motor-sensory area in the brain, it is easier to employ both hands and face to lead the cultivation of a healthy Qi within the body. Specifically, it is also possible to project a more harmonized Qi into the lower Dantien with sufficient practice. The main goal of this practice is trying to nurture and nest an additional happy little man in the abdominal brain besides the cranial one.

This course will become available soon. In the meantime, for those who are interested, please try to study as much as possible the related work by C. Darwin and W. Penfield while awaiting the time and date of the course.
